1. Booking and Payments
By proceeding with a booking, you agree to these Terms of Service. A booking is considered confirmed once we have sent you a confirmation email and/or a deposit has been paid (if applicable). Full payment is required prior to departure unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Guest Cancellation: You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure may be subject to a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.
- Weather Cancellation: The safety of our guests is paramount. The Captain reserves the right to cancel or alter a cruise due to adverse weather or sea conditions. In the event we must cancel your trip due to weather, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
3. Documentation
Passengers must carry a valid National ID or Passport on the day of the cruise, as required by the Greek Port Authorities. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in boarding refusal without refund.
4. Captain's Authority & Safety
During the cruise, the Captain's word is final. The Captain has the ultimate authority to alter the route, cut the trip short, or deny boarding to any passenger if they deem it necessary for the safety of the vessel and its occupants. All passengers must follow the Captain's safety instructions at all times.
5. Passenger Liability & Behavior
Passengers are strictly responsible for their personal belongings (including cameras, phones, and clothing) while on board. Elafonisi Private Cruises is not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal items.
Any deliberate damage caused to the boat or equipment by a passenger will be charged directly to the passenger. Furthermore, consumption of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on board and will result in immediate termination of the cruise without refund.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chania, Crete.
